Happiest holidays to all of our Near Future friends and family. We can't do any of it without you, nor would we want to. We don't take our responsibility lightly or for granted. At this moment, I'm sitting silently in immense gratitude... to all of our participants, contributors, sponsors, support staff, our professional and personal partners. We hope you have a beautiful respite, soaked (I probably could have used a better adjective here...) in love.

Our year in review

January started off strong with the Women's Health Symposium - gathering 80 participants and some of the most knowledgable experts in the space at the beautiful members club, the Portal Marin.
May saw the return of Near Future Summit: 300 brilliant Near Futurists connected around a shared desire to co-create solutions. 32 solutions in fact! From the unveiling of Yves Behar's Telo big little truck, to the Little Birdwearable, to Plhyde food-waste-derived leather, it was electrifying in so many ways. Fancy dinner night wowed with Danish chef Soren Westh, iconic LA food media moguls Alix & Zoya, California Caviar and Olga Vodka flowing, and free-range jamon from La Tienda. The Love Jamboree proved to illuminate, when the Awe Mobile lit up the bubble dance party and DJ set.
June was a very busy month as we co-hosted Orrick's HealthTech Summit in NYC, then gathered art enthusiasts at Dustin Yellin's spectacular studio, and flew directly to Summit Detroit.
August brought the heat! Tireless (ok, we did get tired but we loved it) Near Futurists gathered in 90 degree weather to help revamp the barns at Rancho Compasión.
November's contrasting jacket weather was magical at Hotel Healdsburg and perfect for a Marfa Stance x Near Future x Evolvetogether Pop-up!
December we wrapped the year with a final collaboration: Conscious Singles Date Night hosted by Dr. Cat Meyer and Tim Chang. The two of them will continue to host a regular series there, so join the Portal if you'd like to meet your peeps. We enjoyed MC'ing and helping to facilitate some unexpected connections. And we look forward to finding more unique ways to unite y'all throughout the year in various cities. Stay tuned LA, NYC, Austin, and SF.

WHAT'S COMING IN 2026

After a sublime decade, our marquee Near Future Summit has shifted to be a biennial event, so look forward to the next one debuting in May of 2027. BUT NOT TO FRET! We will delight you with many magical gatherings in 2026.
